5 rules before you paste anything
- Leave out sensitive data. Remove customer names, account numbers, and health or financial details unless you're using an approved business account with data protections.
- You're the editor. AI drafts; a person reviews anything that goes to a customer.
- Check facts and numbers. AI can sound confident and still be wrong.
- Give context. Tell it who you are, who the audience is, and what good looks like.
- Write down your rules. A one-page AI policy keeps your team on the same page. Use our free AI Use Policy Template.
